Testimony as firsthand witness is automatically accepted. He "was declared the Son of God with power by the resurrection from the dead" (Romans 1:4). "This man is performing many signs. If we let Him go like this, all men will believe in Him!" (John 11:47-48).
The works Jesus did were automatically authenticated. Jesus was "a man attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through Him in your midst" (Acts 2:22). "If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me" (John 10:37).
Jesus was chosen to be only observed carefully by a few people at certain times. He became "visible not to all the people, but to witnesses who were chosen beforehand" (Acts 10:41). "He appeared to more than five hundred brethren at one time, most of whom remain until now" (1 Cor 15:6).
Testimony is only worthwhile when it is accepted by the jury as valid evidence. "We are witnesses of all the things He did" (Acts 10:39) and "eyewitnesses of His majesty" (1 Peter 1:16). "'What are we doing? For this man is performing many signs'" (John 11:47).
The most important way to communicate this was verbally. "He ordered us to preach to the people and solemnly to testify that this is the One" (Acts 10:42). "These have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ" (Acts 20:31).
