We are all in the same boat. "'You [Jews] are of this world'" (John 8:23). "'You [disciples] are not of the world'" (John 15:19).

Our honest efforts all gravitate to God's benefit. "Do all for the glory of God" (1 Cor 15:31). "'You did not do it to Me'" (Mat 25:45).

Our decisions are not life or death issues. "'Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will care for itself'" (Mat 6:33). "If anyone is not willing to work, then he is not to eat, either" (1 Th 3:10).

Every motivation is a conscious effort. "Set your mind on the things above" (Col 2:3). "Be anxious for nothing" (Php 4:6).

The only way to do it right is to do it yourself. "'Seek first His Kingdom'" Mt 6:33 and "he who seeks, finds" (Luke 11:10). "'If you ask anything in My name, I will do it'" (John 14:14).
