To know what to do, God will "show you the secrets of wisdom" (Job 11:6). He will "give you the treasures of darkness and hidden wealth of secret places" (Isa 45:3). I know a couple in the ministry whose son was killed in a car accident. They had to struggle to understand. In their newsletter they reported that many people had shared similar experiences with them to show that they weren't alone. It is only God who can reveal supernatural truths. One pastor years ago shared that he died and went to heaven. He asked around, "Where is Jesus?" He was then sent back to continue his ministry. I sold some real estate to a family and the wife told me when she was a girl, she stuck her head in a gas oven to take her life. In heaven Jesus told her it wasn't her time and she was returned. A friend in church shared with me that during his third hip surgery he died and saw his parents and others in heaven. His wife was praying in surgery and he came back to life and now gives his testimony in churches. A waiter in a local restaurant told me he went to heaven when on drugs as a teenager and saw many people there. In her husband's book a missionary from New Zealand who spoke at our church said she was in a garden in heaven and enjoying all the beautiful grass and flowers. Then they revived her in the emergency room and she came back to life. "'In My Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you'" (Jn 14:2).
